Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters.
God can open road where nothing exists. He is able to dry rivers: Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared (Revelation 16:12). And even open waters to roads, as it did with His people of Israel through the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21-22) and the Jordan River (Joshua 3:14-16). No matter how difficult it may seem, God will always do for His purposes.
After all, He is God and among his attributes, He is almighty because He can do everything, even what seems impossible. Just simply believe Him for the impossible becomes possible. And what our Lord said in Matthew 17:20: So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you”.
God’s Word says several times that the right shall live by faith (Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 1:17, Hebrews 10:38). That’s because For we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). Walking along the paths that the Lord takes us through the eyes of faith enables us to see made reality the promises contained in His Word: that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Hebrews 6:12).
God expects us to trust him and is pleased when we do so; but he is not pleased with our lack of faith, as Hebrews 11:6 says: But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Faith is the key that opens the hand of God. He has the power to do anything without anything on our part. However, only we see according to the size of our faith.
Chapter 11 of the Letter to the Hebrews describes the journey of faith of many men and women who lived their lives by opening roads where there was nothing guided by the hand of God. From Abel to Paul, the Bible describes the walk in faith of all. I know that at present many people see these stories as something distant, unattainable at present. But I can tell you that this is part of my daily life.
It is likely that you who hear or read this message to tell me: Okay, Tony, for you is very easy to talk of walking in faith because you have no problems that I have. Well, you may be right; I have not your problems because I have my own, which could be perhaps as large as or larger than yours. And because I have seen my Heavenly Father opening the way where there is none in my own life, I can say that He certainly is willing to work in your life miraculously. The only thing He expects is that you believe He will. His power is limitless. God bless you.
