I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Who believed in Jesus Christ must have as their standard Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I can say all things means that there is nothing impossible. Is fully trust each obstacle it will be overcome no matter how great it looks. The second part of Philippians 4:13 tells us very clearly that all the force so that it cannot come from us but from Christ. Who wrote the letter to the Philippians was the apostle Paul. That is, that the author of this letter believed that everything could be done in Christ who gave him strength. Let’s see how difficult it was for Paul to minister.
2 Corinthians 11:24-28 says: From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness— besides the other things, what comes upon me daily: my deep concern for all the churches.
Paul, the same who wrote Philippians 4:13 suffered numerous trails, including: flogging, stoning, shipwrecks, imprisonment, persecution, gossip, theft, etc. And despite his many trials, Paul knew he could overcome all that had the force that gave Jesus Christ. And despite his sufferings, Paul made several missionary journeys in which he founded many churches, he wrote many of the books of the New Testament and he was the one who brought the gospel to the Gentiles.
Could he do all that Paul in his own strength? It really was not possible taking into account that he suffered much opposition. However, Paul could do all that based on what he said in Philippians 4:13: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And despite his forces waver for mistreatment to which he was subjected, Paul was able to get up after being stoned withstand the bite of a poisonous snake or break the chains of his prison singing praises.
