“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
When we walk in search of something, we all want to find the doors open to get where we’re going. If it comes to finding a job, we would like to open the doors of where we intend to work in place of the shut in our faces. If we go shopping at a store, we would like to find open and not be late when it has closed its doors. In Revelation 3:7-8, the Lord promises to His faithful church that will stand before an open door, which no one can shut.
I’ll share a vision that the Lord allows me several years ago. I was lying on what, at first, thought it was the ground and felt a great peace. Opening my eyes at the vision, I leaned upon something white, not a green grass as I had thought. But I knew there was not snow because I felt something warm my resting place. I looked better and discovered I was lying on clouds and I saw angels flying around me. I joined my break and two angels came to me saying: “Come, we’ll take you in His presence.” Each of them took me by the arm and took flight with me. I felt an infinite joy and great peace that passes all understanding.
We come before His presence, before His throne and both angels like me, prostrate ourselves to worship him. Everything was very impressive and I felt fear and respect because I could perceive with my senses His beautiful holiness. I joined all present singing “Holy, Holy, Holy.” I heard the Lord say the words that are in Revelation 3:7-8: “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, ‘These things says He who is holy, He who is true, “He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens”: “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.”
I feel that God wants to say something to the faithful remnant of His church. In these difficult times in which they are closing many doors for these servants of God committed to the truth, the Lord tells us that He is opening a door that no one can shut. No matter if those who preach the biblical gospel, without distorting it, have little strength, God knows they all have kept His word and have not denied His name.
If a sports tournament, we would say we are at the stage of the championship, where the men from the boys are separated, as a speaker in my home country said. Faithful Christians will be tested to see who denies or affirms to be one of them under pressure from the world. Which side will you be? I want to be at the Lord’s side no matter what. Do you think you do the same? Remember the Lord’s promise; even though we are weak, He opens a door that no one can shut. God bless you.
