The Mission of the Servant of Jesus Christ

To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.

Acts 26:18

Life on Earth is not easy. Problems are inevitable and they are pleasant to nobody. However, none of our problems is greater than living in darkness and under the power of Satan. The mission of the servant of Jesus Christ is not to bring people to a state of prosperity and happiness, but to open their eyes to turn them from darkness to light. Who preach the opposite of what it says Acts 26:18 is not fulfilling his or her task as servant of the Lord. But worst of all is that is allowing souls to be lost.

Many preachers have understood very clearly what their mission is. One is the German Reinhard Bonnke who said: “But the main work of the evangelist is to win souls for Christ, not to preach to Christians asleep, and revive dead churches.” I have seen many Christians living heating banks in churches, which do not grow because nobody goes to the streets to catch the lost and bring them to Christ. Members of these churches only seek to fatten spiritually as they refuse the bread of the Word to those who have not known the Lord.

The British preacher Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981) said: “For me, the work of preaching is the greatest and the most glorious calling to which anyone can ever be called.” I fully agree with what he says Lloyd-Jones. I have worked in various facets in my life. Among them are: directing music groups, an engineer and scientist, serving as professor and university researcher and serving the Lord. And although being a musician or scientist could seem more prestigious occupations, I feel that preach the Word of God to people is my greatest privilege.

Evangelizing is the highest priority task in a Christian church. English evangelist David Watson (1933-1984) said, “Do something else in the church and do not do evangelism is as rearrange the furniture when the house is on fire.” Watson’s comparison makes sense. Hell in flames waiting for those who fail to repent of their sins and die without receiving the forgiveness and grace of God. If those people did not have the opportunity to hear the plan of salvation through neglect of the church, we are guilty for their downfall.

Norman R. Lewis said a great truth: “Getting God’s forgiveness is the most urgent need of every person on Earth.” Although many people think otherwise, the solution to the serious personal problems of each is not our greatest urgency. Nothing helps us get to solve our economic, relational or health problems if not pay attention to restore our relationship with God, which was broken because of sin.

No one can earn heaven on merit, we have all sinned and for that we are excluded from the presence of a holy God. The wages of sin is death and that is our destiny unless someone paid for us the debt. And Jesus Christ did on the cross; but for the grace may touch you, you must repent of your sins and become Him. There is no other possible way to achieve redemption. Let you receive, by faith, your inheritance. God bless you.

Identifying the Apostasy

Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

1 Timothy 4:1-3

Scripture gives us in 1 Timothy 4: 1-3 the key to identifying the apostasy in the church. And to reinforce the divine origin of the revelation that Paul shared with his disciple Timothy, in verse 1 begins by saying: Now the Spirit expressly says. There is no doubt that the Spirit of God inspired Paul to write this passage and, likewise, the same Spirit help us identify this last time in which we live is who departed from the faith.

First we must be clear about what it means apostasy. According to the Bible dictionary, apostasy means turning back, relapse. Apostasy necessarily imply a position that may fall, it made a profession that is abandoned in a deliberate manner. It is not a Christian who falls into sin, but a definite abandonment of Christianity by a professing unconverted, which has not experienced regeneration of conversion. The Scriptures offer no hope for such a state.

In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 it indicates that the second coming of our Lord precedes apostasy: Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. Christians have been alerted and we must be sensitive to the Spirit to identify it clearly.

Returning to 1 Timothy 4:1-3, we see two manifestations of the presence of apostasy: forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth. Both things have already happened within the Church of Rome: mandatory celibacy of priests and the prohibition of not eating meat during Lent.

Many think that both positions are biblical and Christ Church has practiced such things from the beginning. Both thoughts are wrong. Peter, whom the Catholic Church calls the first pope, was married (see Matthew 8:14-15). The Lateran Council, in 1123, under the reign of Calixto II decreed that clerical marriages were invalid, which was confirmed by the Lateran Council II, in the year of 1139, with Pope Innocent II.

Despite the ban, priests and even popes continued to marry and have children for several centuries after that date. The Council of Trent (1545-1563) finally established that celibacy and virginity are superior to marriage. However, two of the popes who presided over this council had illegitimate children: Paul III (1534-1549) had three sons and a daughter, while Pio IV (1559-1565) had 3 children. Following that, Pope Gregory XIII (1572-1585) had an illegitimate child.

Catholic mandatory rule of not eating meat on Fridays during Lent was ordered by Pope Nicholas I (858-867). For centuries, Catholics met that rule because the church, at least until 1938, said that who ate meat on Fridays was going to hell. In 1966, Pope Paul VI eased the extent leaving the decision at hand bishops. I am not criticizing any denomination, just ask you to evaluate your church practices what it says 1 Timothy 4: 1-3. God bless you.

False Servants of God

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15

Harsh words of Paul in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15, but is as common today as it may have been in the times of the early churches. The present church has false apostles and deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. Paul identifies these false servants as ministers of Satan, who covered a false piety, deceived millions of people presenting a false gospel that only serves to lead the unwary to perdition.

From some time now the word apostle has become very popular among the churches that are called Christian. Every day there are more pastors who call themselves apostles. I know of cases of some who are offended if you call them pastors and immediately corrected that is no pastor but apostle. To what extent is true that apostolate? According to what he says 2 Corinthians 11: 13-15, when someone presents himself as an apostle, it is prudent to turn our spiritual warning signal.

The word translated from the original Greek apostle is represented as G652, ἀπόστολος apóstolos in Strong’s Concordance and means delegate; sort of ambassador of the gospel; officially commissioned Christ [“apostle”] (with miraculous powers): – apostle, sent, send, messenger. According to this definition, the apostle is sent as an ambassador of the gospel, as a commissioned officer of Christ. That makes them different from others of their fellow servants.

Now, during his earthly ministry, Jesus had many disciples; but only twelve of them named as apostles. Out of those 12, the Bible speaks very little about other apostles. Among those cases is Matthias (Acts 1:26), who was elected as an apostle to take the place of Judas Iscariot among the 12. Another notable case is Paul, called the Apostle of the Gentiles. I have no evidence that in the history of the church a continuous apostolic succession has occurred.

Not only Paul, in 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 uses the word Apostles to refer to false servants of God. The Lord Himself mentions in Revelation 2:2: I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars. This message was addressed to one of the seven churches of Asia; but I think it’s a wakeup call to the church today that we test those who call themselves apostles and are not. Certainly that will be found liars too.

Every time I read chapter 24 of Matthew, I am more convinced that we are in the last days. The mere fact of seeing the rooms of houses with each family member immersed in their own world, it is clear that much love of many has cooled. And from the news we learn that evil has multiplied. Therefore, what He says it is being fulfilled Matthew 24:11: Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. Let us try not to be deceived by Satan’s ministers who have taken by assault the church and contaminated with a distorted gospel. God bless you.

Tempted but without Sin

For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:15

The reason why Jesus is the perfect scapegoat is because no defects. As a man, Jesus was the only human being on earth without sin. Besides Him, the rest of mankind, no other exception, has sin in greater or lesser extent. But the greatness of Jesus is not limited to having lived as a man on this earth without committing any sin. He, like all human beings, suffered the same temptations; but he never succumbed to any of them.

Although the full humanity accepts the calendar that divides the history between before and after Christ, there are millions of people in the world who ignore who He is and among the millions of people who do not know who Jesus Christ is, many mention everyday His name; but only follow mere religious traditions without putting meditate on His person and what He did for the whole human race.

The British preacher Martyn Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981) said: “Jesus says, ‘I have finished the work You gave me to do,’ is already made; it is complete. Therefore, we preach a completed salvation. No we have left us nothing else to do, but only receive it; there is nothing we have to add; no good deed nor any merit we have to provide. Everything is in Christ and Christ alone.” These wise words are so clear that they do not need any comment.

The work that Jesus Christ came to this world to do was to take the place of sinful humanity and pay the price for their transgressions. American pastor Charles F. Stanley (1932- ) says: “To us be free had to pay a price. But to who? Jesus did not pay the devil; He paid the price that God required to satisfy His holy justice.” All mankind has sinned against God and the wages of sin is death. There is no single human being with the requirements to fully pay the debt we owe to God. Only the Lamb without blemish or sin, Jesus fulfills them.

We must see Jesus Christ as it is, the only one able to save us from certain doom because of our sins. The American pastor John MacArthur (1939- ) said: “Following Christ is not from you or me. Being a Christian does not have to do with us, it does not have to do with our self-esteem. It is about being sick of our sin and despair for forgiveness. It is to see Christ as the invaluable Savior.” What Jesus has done for us what we can never overcome, no matter what we do for Him.

As I said earlier, there are many people who speak of Jesus Christ and don’t know who He really is. There is no comparison with anyone else. Pretender put a different basis for our salvation is disrespecting the same God and that’s called sin. English preacher John Charles Ryle (1846-1900) said: “To say that the Virgin Mary, or anyone else, can feel more compassion for us that Christ is ignorance and no less than blasphemy.”

To understand clearly who is Jesus Christ, remember the words of John the Baptist written in John 1:29: The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” God bless you.

What Comes of the World

For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.

1 John 2:16

Many people think that comes into this world to live and enjoy life the way they please. I’ve heard people say that the only thing one gets to die is what has enjoyed. Therefore, these people are more concerned about satisfying their desires and enjoy the most that seek God. But 1 John 2:16 says that such desires of the flesh or eyes is not of God but of the world. And knowing that the world is under the evil, such desires are opposed to God.

We are being bombarded daily by advertising that incites the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. Television, cinema, the Internet and advertising to the side of the road billboards promote the products they sell using all those things that come from the world and not of the Father. It is very often used to advertise beautiful models from auto brands to drugs for sexual dysfunction. The most beautiful places are presented, more luxurious and fun life only in order to capture the attention of potential customer.

The result of mundane advertising is attached to consumerism society. Many people live more aware of being fashionable or release the latest technology on the market that thinking about their eternal destiny. The downside of all this is that everything we see is perishable and ephemeral. It is written in Mark 13:31: Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. The only constant is the Word of God, which we have written in the Bible, the quintessential instruction manual for this life and the future.

Like commercial advertising, music has been used to convey the desire to live according to the world and not according to God’s plan. Thousands of songs have been written praising that kind of life. I’ll just mention a few examples here. If someone wants to check what they say such songs, I suggest you look for its letters or lyrics on the Internet where you can find easily. You can find the songs “My Way” by Frank Sinatra, “Livin La Vida Loca” by Ricky Martin, “Life is a Carnival” by Celia Cruz and “Living My Life” by Marc Anthony.

James 4:4 tells us that the things of God are incompatible with those of world: Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. When we delight with the desires of the flesh, the lust of the eyes or the vainglory of life, we are being dragged by the current of the world, which is dominated by the evil. That’s why we became the enemy of God because we are establishing a covenant with the commander in chief of the enemies of God, the devil.

Let us reflect for a moment if we are living our crazy life in our own way because we consider it a carnival. In case you did not know, the carnival is a celebration of pagan origin in which at the end is worshiping the devil and his demons. So live your life like a carnival is to live worshiping the prince of this world instead of worshiping the true God. I urge you to make a stop along the way, discusses how you’re living your life, you think that can happen when you are finished if you continue down that road, then put right with your Creator. God bless you.

For What Did You Come?

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

John 10:10

The stark contrast between Jesus and the thief, while the second one comes to steal, kill and destroy, the Lord has come that they have life; but not a simple life, but a life in abundance. While the thief takes away everything, even life and seeks our destruction, the Lord gives us the opportunity to get up even from the dead and prepare a place for us in His heavenly abode. The aim of the thief is our downfall; but Jesus wants our salvation.

Much has been written about what the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy. It has been said that we want to take away our dignity, communion with God, work, friends, family, health, faith, finance, identity as children of God, joy, God’s promises, dreams, soul, purpose on earth and blessings, including other things. The Bible says that robs us in Luke 8:11-12: Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Those by the wayside are the ones who hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

Actually, the devil only needs to steal the Word of God to take away everything. When he steals the Word, he takes away our opportunity to achieve salvation and eternal life. That is his main goal; he distracts us with additives in order to drag us to perdition, thus avoiding seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. When we focus on being part of the Kingdom of God, the enemy cannot touch us as says 1 John 5:18: We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

Jesus is who John says He who was born of God keeps him, the same that says I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. All wiles of the enemy are destroyed by our Lord, as 1 John 3:8 says: He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. The diabolical plan has been discovered, exposed and destroyed by Jesus Christ. Do not be fooled by their lies or allow to continue stealing, killing and destroying our lives.

Colossians 2:15 leaves no doubt about the final victory of Christ over the devil: Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. Therefore, as a phrase circulating in cyberspace says: “On your way, the enemy places stones, man thorns sheds, but God draws a destination. And that is why that although many steps are painful, your end has to be wonderful.” Whenever our end is with Christ, there is nothing to fear what the thief intends to do with us.

In short, John 10:10 shows two who have come. One is the thief who comes with the intention of annihilating. The other is Jesus who came to give us abundant life. Who of the two you get? If you call attention to the things of this world, which is dominated by the devil, the thief himself will take away everything and destroy you. Trust only in Jesus, who says 1 John 4:4:  You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. God bless you.

Who Dominate the World?

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

1 John 5:19

1 John 5:19 says: We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. If we look first to the second part of this verse, we will have the answer to the question that serves as the title for this message. The whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one, the devil, our adversary. In this sense, we know that we are children of God we are not called to be complacent with the world and its things, but quite the opposite. God’s values are opposed to the values of the world because the enemy governs its values.

The desire to dominate the world has existed in the minds of men since ancient times. In Genesis 10:8-12 we read: Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the Lord; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the Lord.” And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city). This Nimrod was a great-grandson of Noah.

In history they have seen parading a series of empires whose purpose was to conquer and completely dominate the known world. The first four empires occurred in antiquity and are described prophetically in Chapter 2 of the book of Daniel. The first was the Babylonian Empire of Nebuchadnezzar, which followed on the Persian Empire of Cyrus, the Greco-Macedonian Empire of Alexander the Great and the Roman Empire, which reached its greatest territorial extension in the time of Emperor Trajan.

With the fall of the Roman Empire they arose during the Middle Ages universal empires such as the Arab Empire, the Mongol Genghis Khan and the Ottoman Turks. At the end of the Middle Ages colonial empires would developed, the most important were Spain, Portugal, France and Britain. The colonial empires were spread across all continents and dominated large territories.

And in our times, other nations have sought to have dominion over the world in a different way. Some of them, like the Soviet Union, Japan and Nazi Germany came to conquer large territory by war. Others like the same Soviet Union and the United States of America have reached the status of superpower influence their political systems of many countries worldwide.

Certain supranational organizations have been intended to dominate the world. Among them they may be mentioned the Illuminati, Al Qaeda and the Islamic State. We see some of the goals of the Illuminati: abolition of all government; abolition of private property and social classes; abolition of inheritance rights; destruction of patriotism and nationalism and replacement by a global government under international control; abolition of the concept of the traditional family and the prohibition of any kind of religion by establishing an official ecumenism.

Considering what it says 1 John 5:19, the devil has been behind any attempt to conquer and dominate the world since the beginning of time until today. If we are in Christ, we apply John 18:36: Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” Remember that we are not from here. God bless you.

The Father of Lies

You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.

John 8:44

Who feels calm because only says white lies probably never read John 8:44. The Lord Jesus Christ himself says that the devil is the father of lies. In the eyes of God there is no classification for lies, all are equally bad and its color must always be the color of its parent. So, who’s lying becomes a son of the father of lies, the devil, and will please the wishes of his father.

In my life I have known several compulsive liars. They are people who delight in lying and they do like to practice a sport. The compulsive liar creates his or her own unreal world and may even believe what he or she says. Actually, discover this kind of liars is not very difficult. At any time you will discover that they are not telling the truth and, from there, the word will spread and no one will believe. That is when their house of cards will collapse.

But more damaging than compulsive liars are those who tend to say what they call white lies. These people do not feel they are doing something wrong when they tell others who are coming to a meeting when they have not yet left their homes. Or when teaching their children to say they are not if someone searches for them. These lies are not as innocent as they seem and can damage friendships or business.

Another way to lie is to silence the truth. I cannot be hypocritical, before my encounter with Jesus, I myself thought I was not lying. However, very often I avoided telling the truth when somebody made me incriminating questions. This practice is synonymous with lack of transparency and is the same as telling lies. It is better to speak the truth even if it hurts to shut it up anyway because in the end everything will come to light.

Hypocrisy is also a way of lying. Double-sided people do not show their true self in front of their partners. Hide what we think or feel is a liar act. Similarly, the gossips are people who practice lying. The vast majority of gossip and backbiting are not true and do tremendous damage to the people involved. It is unfortunate that gossip television programs are the largest audience in almost every country in the world.

Lying implies among other things falsehood, fiction, appearance, dissimulation, disguise, deceit, pretense, simulation, exaggeration, misrepresentation, ruse, gossip, slander, inaccuracy and fraud. All those positions make us to act as children and spokesmen of the father of lies, the devil, and lead us to be slaves of sin. The Bible says that the ultimate fate of the father of lies is the lake of fire. There also will go his children, let us try not to be in that grim list.

God’s desire is that we know the truth that sets us free. Living in truth is to be authentic, truthful, honest, legitimate, accurate, clear, complete, honest, upright, one-piece, and loyal. Seek the knowledge of the truth which tells John 14: 6: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. Only then we will be children of the Father of true and not of the father of lies. It’s time to repent, turn to Jesus Christ and to stop pleasing the devil. God bless you.

Let not Sin Reign in Us

Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Romans 6:12-13

Many modern preachers shirk address the issue of sin in their sermons. Like most people live itching to hear messages that sweeten your ears, these preachers prefer to speak of prosperity, happiness and love and forgiveness of God who accepts them as they are; but they do not guide them towards a real transformation of their lives. However, since Jesus himself, through the apostles to reach the great preachers committed to truth, God’s message remains the same: repent of our sins so that they no longer reign in us.

I will give some examples of what has been preached about sin and according to the Bible. Two English seventeenth-century preachers identified sin as a sign of the devil give dominion over our lives. Thomas Watson (1620-1686) said, “Sin stamp the image of the devil on a man.” Meanwhile, Stephen Charnock (1628-1680) said the following. “Every sin is to choose the devil to be our lord.” More than 300 years after the death of both preachers, the tendency of modern society is to choose the devil as a lord, instead of choosing God.

If you have been rescued from the clutches of sin, it is impossible to continue looking back. In this sense, the Scottish theologian Sinclair Ferguson (1948- ) said: “It is a contradiction to his ontological identity which a Christian persevere and continue in sin.” It says a saying that you cannot be at the same time with God and with the devil; but that is literally what they claim to do all that calls them Christians, but continue their sinful life they had before knowing Christ.

Another Scottish theologian John Murray (1898-1975) said: “One thing is sin living in us; quite another is that we live in sin.” And the English preacher William Gurnall (1617-1679) said: “Do not pray only against the power of sin, but by the power of holiness. Looks fiery zeal against sin but remains cool relative to holiness is false.” As Christians, we cannot live in sin but in holiness, because as Hebrews 12:14 says: Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.

The Christian life is unimaginable without the definitive renunciation of sin. The American Christian writer Jerry Bridges (1929- ) said: “We are responsible before God to obey His Word and put to death the sins of our life, whether called acceptable or obviously condemnable.” We cannot go through life calling us Christians while backstage we live a life of sin.

Finally, I will quote what he said the Mexican pastor of Dutch origin Gerald Nyenhuis (1928- ): “Only when we have a deep sense of the holy will of God, we understand that sin is truly sinful for us.” What he says Nyenhuis seems redundant; but the presence of sin in the Christian life is totally harmful because it spoils our testimony. And there are many pending what we do to use as excuses and not become Christ eyes. God bless you.

What God Saves Us

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Titus 3:3-7

Although many people think they are good, the truth is we all have a very long tail that can be pressed. Some of the deviations presented by the Bible in Titus 3:3-7 may be there in every human being during their stay on Earth. Without falling into hypocrisy, who can deny it has been foolish, rebellious, lost, slave of the passions and pleasures? Will anyone ever did not act with malice or hate envied someone? All these things lead to sin. God saves us just pay for sin.

Other times I told my testimony when I became to Jesus Christ. I cannot deny that I was one of those who turned to God for help to solve their earthly problems. At that time I, like many, believe me a good person and that, therefore, God was going to help me get a good job and find my ideal partner. Fortunately for me, God gave me something much better than what I was looking for. What God gave me that night was convinced of my inability to obtain salvation for myself and only Jesus can do.

My encounter with Jesus, the light of the world, revealed my true self because my sins were exposed as they were. It was as if I was in a mirror and I realized that I was totally dirty and full of evil. My sinful condition was incompatible with the presence of a holy God. As a film, they were parading before my eyes all my sins, all my great evil hidden that not even my best friend knew. At the same time, it passed before my eyes and saw the cross with Jesus Christ crucified paying for each one of my sins.

At that moment I realized that the righteous Jesus Christ had died, in the cruelest way possible, to pay for my own crimes. It was I who should have been on that cross paying for my many crimes and sins. However, God’s love for me is so great, that put His own Son in my place. When I recall that scene I understand what God’s grace can does for every human being and that makes me love more every day who saved me from eternal damnation.

You guess what, my personal encounter with Jesus Christ occurred in 2002. My material problems were not resolved. In all my years I have been through ordeals and that you can continue going on. However, none of that is important to me because in my mind and my heart is engraved the image of what God saved me, eternal damnation because of my own sins. You can identify or not with my situation. But if you do not look at me as your mirror, that does not make you innocent of your sins. I recommend that you meditate and, alone with God, get right with Him, repent of your sins and trust in Jesus Christ for salvation and eternal life. There is no other way to do it. God bless you.
