All Is to the Praise of His Glory

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will, that we who first trusted in Christ should be to the praise of His glory. In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

Ephesians 1:11-14

When we realize that God grants us much more than we deserve, praise to Him becomes natural. Although we believe we are good, we certainly are not. Our sin makes us outlaws before God and that makes us guilty in the face of a divine judgment. Only the grace of God condones our debt, and if something good comes out of us it is for His glory. Therefore, we must thank Him daily for the grace, this undeserved favor of saving us and praising His glory shed in us.

I’ve heard people say that they deserve better luck when things do not go the way they want. Some even blame God for their adverse situations. In truth, God is not responsible for our problems or for the world to walk on its feet. The cause of individual and collective evils is sin, and of that, no one can declare himself innocent. And concerning sin, Romans 6:23 says, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Then, if we deserve something by nature, it is to pay for our sins, and just condemnation for sin is death. If we do not die for our sins, it is because God gave us forgiveness, it was His grace, and it was His glory that lifted Jesus from the dead giving us the same hope of resurrection. Therefore, we deserve nothing, we are not worthy to be exalted but to suffer the greatest humiliation; But God has been merciful to us, so only He deserves to be praised, only He deserves glory and honor.

Let us not complain of our fate feeling that we are treated unjustly. If God’s justice were applied to us as it should be, no one would be saved from eternal damnation. The best thing we can do each day is to rise up praising our God and Father of glory, who has made us partakers of belonging to His family through our redemption through the blood of His Beloved Son Jesus Christ. May our salvation be to the praise of His glory in each day of those who are left to live and then in eternity with Him.

It does not matter if our walk in this world is a constant suffering. Let us remember Paul who, despite consecrating himself to the service of God, suffered persecution, beatings, imprisonment and many other tribulations until he was finally executed by the name of Jesus. In spite of all his sufferings, Paul was able to raise his praise to Almighty God in the midst of his prison, and not only were his chains broken, but his deliverance served for his jailer to obtain salvation and eternal life.

Circumstances do not direct our course. Let us walk with reverence and honor to who has saved us from everlasting punishment. Let us fill our lips with praise to Him, instead of filling them with complaints. May all that we do be to the praise of His glory. God bless you.

Soul’s Toner

And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness and of Your praise all the day long.

Psalm 35:28

If you cleaned up your face and you applied a moisturizer, the next step is toning. Similarly it happens with your soul clean and moisturized for forgiveness and prayer, which needs to be toned with praise. When you praise God and turn to Him your thoughts, when you forget yourself, without selfishness in your heart, you are freed so that God gives you His joy.

Skin toners relate to a product for care that guarantees that it will be completely clean. Toner restores the pH balance of the skin. Using a toner should be part of daily cleansing routine, according to the experts. The toner removes any oil or makeup. For best results, a toner without alcohol should be chosen.

A skin toner can be a liquid or lotion and sometimes also called the tonic, astringent, refreshing lotion or clearer. The skin toner is used to reduce the size of the pores and to remove excess fat. Although sometimes the skin toners are believed to dry skin modern formulas come in different forms that do more than just reducing pore size. Toners cool, give tone, cleanse and moisturize the skin for a healthy glow.

In the same way that toners act on our skin, praise ensures that our soul will be cleansed of selfishness because we concentrate only on the God we worship. Praise also removes the fear and anxiety and brings us peace and joy of the Lord. When praising, praise must choose without the spirit of humanism to focus on the figure of our loving Heavenly Father.

Our praise, as the soul toner may be a known liquid lotion song or a new song that comes out of our hearts. The toner of the soul shrinks the pores of our fears because we take refuge in the powerful arms of the Lord. And though some people think that praise dries our soul because we forget ourselves, the truth is that it helps us to stop thinking about our problems to focus on the God who solves all.

David was, without doubt, the greatest king of Israel. But David’s life was not always peaceful and without problems, on the contrary, most of the time he was forced to fight many enemies. Neither he was perfect and came to commit serious sins. However, David is remembered as a man after God’s own heart because he could confess his faults and repent, but above all, he was a man who gave praises to God all the time.

Like David, let tone your soul with your praise that He is worthy to receive glory and honor. I assure you that if you want to live a full life, turn it into one of praise instead of getting up every day between complaints and lamentations. Praise God in joy, in sorrow, in victory and in the trail. He will always respond. God bless you.
